Published Requirements

What credit score do I need for a business line of credit?

The actual FICO minimums: 650 for a bank-style business line of credit, 600 for revenue-based financing, 550 to renew an existing advance. Published thresholds, not ranges.

The 60-second answer

For a bank-style business line of credit the published minimum is a 650 FICO. Revenue-based financing starts at 600. A renewal of an advance you already have goes down to 550. Credit score alone never decides it — time in business, revenue and your bank statements carry at least as much weight, and a 700 score with three months of overdrafts will still decline.

Why the score is not the deciding factor

Every program above reads your business bank statements before it reads your credit report. A 620 score with clean statements, steady deposits and a healthy average balance places more easily than a 690 score sitting behind two advances with six overdrafts a month. Score sets which door is open; the statements decide whether you walk through it.

Common questions

Can I get a business line of credit with a 600 credit score?
Not a bank-style line of credit — those start at 650. At 600 the route is revenue-based financing, which reads your deposits rather than your score.
Is there a business line of credit with no credit check?
No. We run credit on every program. What changes is how much weight the score carries against your bank statements.
Does applying hurt my credit score?
A pre-qualification is a soft pull. A hard pull happens only if you accept an offer and move to funding.
What credit score do I need for $100,000?
The same minimums apply — size is set by revenue, not score. A bank-style term loan is capped at 15% of your annual revenue, so $100,000 needs roughly $667,000 a year behind it.

Why we publish these

These are our requirements. Most sites answering this question give you a range and a "contact us for details" — because publishing a real threshold means being held to it. We would rather you know before you apply whether you clear the bar, so the numbers above are the actual ones an application is measured against, not a marketing range. They are reviewed on the dates below and updated here when they change.
