The published maximum is 2 positions. A bank-style term loan funds first position only, a line of credit can sit second, and a third open advance is an automatic decline.
Figures verified 2026-09-21Two. Across every program we offer, the published maximum is two open positions. A third is an automatic decline, not a pricing adjustment. A bank-style term loan will only fund in first position; a bank-style line of credit can sit second. Taking additional financing against an open line of credit freezes that line.
| Product | Position it will take | What that means in practice |
|---|---|---|
| Bank-style term loan | First position only | Will not fund behind an open advance |
| Bank-style line of credit | Can sit in second position | Maximum 2 positions total |
| Revenue-based financing | Maximum 2 positions | A third open advance is an automatic decline |
| Renewal or add-on | None if another position exists | Add-ons land at 7, 10 or 13 months into a 12, 15 or 18-month term |
A position is an open advance or loan taking a daily or weekly debit from your business account. Two advances running at once is two positions. A bank-style line of credit under $55,000 is not counted as a competing position on a renewal — that is the one published exception.
If you hold an open bank-style line of credit and take additional financing elsewhere, the line freezes. You keep the balance and the payment; you lose access to the undrawn portion. It is the single most expensive mistake we see, because the cheapest money on the table is the money you just lost access to.
Nothing new will fund on top. The routes that remain are consolidating the daily payment into a single weekly one, or paying a position down to get back under the cap. A reverse consolidation does not pay off your existing advances — it restructures what leaves your account while they continue to run.
These are our requirements. Most sites answering this question give you a range and a "contact us for details" — because publishing a real threshold means being held to it. We would rather you know before you apply whether you clear the bar, so the numbers above are the actual ones an application is measured against, not a marketing range. They are reviewed on the dates below and updated here when they change.
One application, read against every program above. No fee, and no effect on your credit to find out.
