Facts checked October 15, 2026. Published by Merchant Fund Express (no affiliation with Spring (SpringCash LLC)).

Spring, at spring.ai and operated by SpringCash LLC in New York, sells two very different things: working capital for any US small business ("Bridge Funding") and retail-supply-chain financing for consumer brands that sell to retailers such as Walmart, Target and Costco. It also sells a $499-a-month finance software platform. Those three pieces have different rules, so this review keeps them apart.

## Products (from spring.ai)
- **Bridge Funding** — Amount: Up to $500,000, based on verified deposits. For: Registered US business with revenue, a US entity with an EIN, and a business bank account connected read-only through Plaid (or uploaded statements). Spring runs a credit check when it prepares the offer. Cost: One fixed fee shown before you accept. Spring says there are no origination, late, returned-payment or early-completion fees. Repaid: Structured as a purchase of a share of future receipts. A set share of daily receipts is collected by ACH, with a weekly ceiling. Source: https://www.spring.ai/bridge
- **Purchase order financing** — Amount: Part of up to $10M across retail products. For: Signed PO from an approved retailer, at least $1M in annual revenue, and a supplier Spring can pay. Cost: Finance charge based on an annual rate and the days outstanding. Repaid: Spring pays your supplier directly; repaid when the order ships and is invoiced. - **Invoice factoring** — Amount: Advance rate set per retailer. For: Invoices to retailers or distributors on net terms. Cost: Finance charge based on an annual rate and the days outstanding, taken at funding. Repaid: The retailer pays Spring directly under a notice of assignment; the holdback less the fee comes back to you. Source: https://www.spring.ai/invoice-factoring
- **Demand plan financing** — Amount: Sized to the retailer orders committed for the coming quarter. For: US brands with retailer demand plans on the books. Cost: One financing fee at a fixed annual rate, charged on what you draw. Repaid: Equal monthly installments, typically over six months. Source: https://www.spring.ai/demand-plan-financing

## Not published
- Whether a Bridge Funding customer must also pay the $499-a-month platform subscription. Spring says financing is priced separately from the software; ask before you apply.
- A minimum credit score for Bridge Funding. Spring says it runs a credit check but does not publish a cutoff.
- A minimum monthly revenue or time in business for Bridge Funding.
- The fee as a percentage, the share of daily receipts collected, and the weekly ceiling. These appear only in your offer.

## How applying works
1. Answer a few questions about the business and how much you need (Spring says about six minutes in total).
2. Give owner details (anyone who owns 25% or more) and connect the business bank read-only through Plaid, or upload statements.
3. Complete a photo ID and selfie check.
4. Receive an email with one of three outcomes: approved, a request for more information, or a decline. Spring says answers normally come the same day.
5. Accept the offer. Spring says Bridge Funding can be paid the same day by real-time payment once your bank is verified.

## Questions to ask before signing
- Is this offer Bridge Funding, PO financing, factoring or demand-plan financing? The answer changes who gets paid and how you repay.
- What is the fixed fee in dollars, and what total amount will be collected?
- What share of daily receipts will be debited, and what is the weekly ceiling?
- Do I need the $499-a-month platform to get or keep this financing?
- Which account will the ACH debits come from, and what happens to the debits during a slow week?
